Pete Schmidt
was a football coach who had a lot of success at Okemos and Albion College as a
head coach and was also an assistant in the Big Ten at Indiana for four
years. He was also inducted
posthumously.
His wife, Rebecca, represented him at the ceremony. She told us that Pete’s character and work ethic
are what enabled him to accomplish his successes as a coach.
